This project required the selection of a program for a site in the Golden Triangle neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The site, located at 13th and Cherokee, featured compelling adjacencies to the Denver Arts District to the east and the Denver County Jail directly to the west. I adopted the program of a woodshop as I believed it prodivded a link between the arts district and a chance at rehabilitation for those who find themselves at the jail. The window detailing is meant to reflect the end grain of a piece of lumber.
